Havre de Grace Ambulance Corps provides medical support for 2026 Susquehanna Running Festival

On Saturday September 19, HDGAC 59A and 59B provided advanced life support coverage at the Susquehanna Running Festival along with the Harford County Department of Emergency Services, Whitetord Volunteer Fire Co's UTV and University of Maryland Medical Center Sports Medicine Team.
Over 2000 runners participated in the 5k, 10k and half marathon beginning at Tydings Park, crossing the Hatem Bridge to Perryville before returning back to the park.
Co 5-9 transported 2 patients with race related illnesses to the local ER.
The newly launched Bulle Rock CERT attended the event along side our medic unit and performed regular sweep of Runner's Village to check for any delayed onset illnesses or injuries. We appreciated the extra help monitoring the health and safety of everyone visiting our city.
